A Little About Me
Hi! My name is Isioma, and I’m originally from the beautiful twin-island of Trinidad and Tobago.
I now live with my wonderful husband and our two amazing yet crazy kids who keep our life joyful and full of adventures.
When I’m not working, volunteering, or spending time with my family, one of my favorite ways to unwind is by curling up with a good old movie—it’s my perfect way to relax and recharge.
Why I Became a Doula
I came into this field for two main reasons. The first was my own personal experience when I had my son. That journey opened my eyes to how valuable and supportive doulas truly are. I gained a deep respect for the work they do—often underestimated, yet so powerful and necessary.
The second reason is simple: I have a genuine love for people. Supporting others during such a vulnerable and beautiful time brings me joy and purpose. It’s in my nature to help, to comfort, and to show up when I’m needed.
I’ve been serving families for over a decade, and every new adventure continues to inspire me. It’s an honor to walk alongside families during these sacred moments of transition and growth.
I’m a certified postpartum doula dedicated to supporting families during one of the most transformative times of life—welcoming a new baby. With a calm presence, evidence-based knowledge, and a heart for nurturing, I help parents navigate early postpartum with confidence, comfort, and care.
